Yes. I read it somewhere in a thread. I THINK its 7K but not sure. Seriously, that would be a fun ski. Mine is an absolute blast that keeps getting better with every upgrade (solas mag recently) and it weighs in now about 280 rtr.

My q8 is about the same weight. I will be visiting steve sometime this year for a test ride.

Vision in action. We expect big surf this weekend. Hopefully someone will bring a go pro.

I finally grew a set and started to try some BF,s yesterday. Man, it was fun.

No video,I even have a gopro but they really were not even close enough to record. It was a bit choppy so my slide to BF was sparatic due to the hook up. Some felt really good while others, not so much.

But I feel as i had good form after 4 years of reading 'how to back flip". I concenetrated more on that than anything.

Once I get bored with the baby step slide back flop I will try it off the set up wake and get some video.

And to all that is on the fence in trying one, it really doesnt hurt and it is fun as hel!!

Smooth water and the bored nozzle is going to help a little. I know it wont get me but a few more inches but it will be a little closer.

When I did keep my eyes open I watching the nose hit fisrt !haha

Mine has been sunk....twice

Thats my fear. My first attempt was out in front of the cove close to the main channel about 140ft deep. Took on a fair bit of water after rolling it back over.
Then I decided to go back in the cove in front of the dock where it is anywhere from 25ft infront of the dock to 60 ft in the middle of the cove.

At least I will no it wont float down the savanah river to the dam (savanah river starts in front of our cove).

yeah. but it was only <4ft. I was already in the process of dragging it out of the surf on both occasions. both times I was in some rough storm surge and the boat got away from me and started to go down before I could get too it. the first time was a simple dry out. the second required a full teardown. I dont blame the ski, I blame me not riding enough and not being able to handle myself in the conditions I was riding in.

the not riding enough thing has really got me thinking of just getting rid of all my skis.

I have been thinking of removing the versiplugs in the back and get some of the screw out plugs like on sit downs to drain the water.

Might get me a few more seconds just in case. I should have stuffed a pool noodle down the tube of my pole when building and maybe nose foam.

Mine seems fine. The little ones that are in the back are mine I think. The one under the exhuast tube gets all the black goo and causes it to not seal.

I would keep the versi plugs in there. They do seal when underwater
Scott's Vision got rolled pretty good in rough surf maybe then the versi plugs may of open and close.

You can take them apart and clean them up

Just got finished installing the bored nozzle and wiping everything down.

Clean now. Found that lubricating spray works great to remove the sticky crap that gets everywhere from the handle bar grips.
