Because you can be an innovator or an imitator, in my book Yamaha is an imitator

Now seadoo. That's an innovator. Lots of electronics, rotery valve, rave vlave, direct injection, permawrench.

Permawrench?

Yeah, that guy that owns the seadoo permantely has a wrench glued to his hand.

The electronic antitheft lanyards on Seadoos are awesome.

I don't care if Yamaha innovated :):):):). What I care about is my Yamaha stuff works the way it claims to work all the time. My Warrior 350 was great. My YFZ450 is perfect. My Superjet is top notch. Tell me all about how they are all pieces of :):):):). I'll tell you about how pleased I am owning them. I'll trade performance for that :):):):) works. Reliability is the number one measure of performance in my book.

Tell all these customers I have with dead Yamaha motors how reliable they are, the latest Yamaha engine to hit the trash can is a Yamaha 1200 NPV triple, you might try taking off the Yamaha colored glasses and you may see things more clearly, BTW reread my post, the only thing I called junk was the YFM200 and the Blaster four wheeler, I stand by that , it was junk, band junk at that.

I thanked you for this haha LMFAO!

I rebuild about ten times as many Yamahas as I do Seadoos, not sure what you think breaks on the Seadoos, but most of time on Seadoos I am rebuilding carbs and replacing grey fuel lines that are not ethanol fuel compatible or replacing starter solenoids and 15 year old wear rings. I believe I will build my third Seadoo engine for the year next week. On one a clamp broke and it ingested water in the engine on a 951, it ran that way for two years it was just noisy as hell. The second was a Seadoo jet boat which had been horribly abused and was pulled apart and half the pieces were missing, the third is a 1993 GTX that an oil line broke on, it just needs a piston and a cylinder.I stopped counting on the Yamahas, seriously I couldn't keep up with it, I built two just this week and tore another one down, there are four more here waiting to be torn down and rebuilt right now.
