got it. What if I were to go in a shop with the just the hull....what would be the best parts to put in it? Again, if money was not an issue and creating the most reliable durable ski.

Thrust can set you up with a nice motor package, as could Wamiltons, X-Scream. They are all in your neck of the woods, well, XScream is a few hours away but not too far.

you need to ask yourself how and what your going to be using it for....like the others have said..... there is a number of great builders with in a reasonable distance of you. its a matter of what you want.

money not being an option

Skat Billet Pump
1000cc Engine set-up from team scream or DASA

everything is reliable as long as you properly maintain it.

xscream 1000
Bpipe/dual modded SBN 46's
MSD enhancer
billet mag pump 145-148mm
PUMP GAS!

all the reliability of a stocker..gas and go, no wrenching just ride

Pick up that hull from Brian, drop it off at Xscream and staaaaand back!

Florida guys got it easy..we have pretty much one stop shop for the best freeride products in the world!

It really depends on your riding, a 1000 might be to much.

Call Brian at Thrust

He has a demo ski with a Dasa 930 in a Carbon Rickter

My set up is

Carbon FS1
XS1000
B pipe
Dual 46's
Stock ebox on MSD Enh.
Light flywheel
148 Billet XS SB mag pump

Ski rips

I also have a FS1 glass I'm dropping my 865 XS SS in.

Rick Roy can set you up with a complete boat or driveline parts as well.

WCF, Thrust, DASA and others all do motors.

WCF has a 1000cc build thread going right now.

Its the Freeride Rickter, but it still needs to be re inforced either way.

Your best bet is to Call Brian at Thrust. I think he builds more Rickters on this coast then anyone else. I was just at his shop & he's building a FS1 for a local guy.

Motor wise I'm a Xscream guy. Local company, Chucky knows the set up down to a T, hard to go wrong. Drop the motors in & adjust the idle....

I would either go XS 865 SS or XS1000 Surf Edition
