I find this post, along with 90% of your other posts freaking hilarious.
What gen. am I lol?
Well what exactly do you think is happening? Most new guys buy a ski and then sell it once they get their kicks. Very few stick around 10 years let alone 30+ and most skis for sale are riddled with aftermarket parts, for better or worse. They officially "dont make these things anymore".
You would have better luck finding and marrying a 30 year old smoking hot virgin woman who was saving herself for the right man than finding an un touched SN or RN these days.
And if you do they are going for the same price as the SN with a hack job motor (or more) than the ski OP is asking about. Today the seller wants the money back for his aftermarket mods. (Even if they suck)
I just think we all need to take a step back and realize today's price points aren't going away any time soon, if ever.
And to OP, SN vs RN...who cares at this point. The bottom decks are the same. The rn top deck has all the "cool parts" that bolt right up. At the same time one of the most popular rn mods was to run a lowered poll bracket to make it feel like an SN. Go figure.
For that SN I'd say hard pass at 3k. For 2.3k I'd do it. Talk to him and see if he would come down. Not a fan of the Frankenstein motor. Realize though most solid superjets you come across will cost at least that price nowadays. That's just my 2 cents
