What waterboxes are people running in the edge (b pipe setup)? I'm looking at gen2 xmetal, H20, and the new TNT waterbox. Any fit issues?

@tntsuperjet I assume you are associated with the creation of this new waterbox. image.jpg Can you comment on the internal changes over a stock RN box?

The x-metal fits in the edge. A little tight with a limited pipe but works with no problem. Would probably fit better with a mod pipe.

The RRP box might be the ticket though. I think if I was running a b-pipe in my edge I would give it a shot. The RRP box is loud with the RRP pipe. I would imagine it's still pretty loud with a b-pipe. X-metal box is pretty quiet.

Where are tc and Gomez putting the RRP waterbox with the b-pipe? Are the mounting in the nose of the ski like a traditional b-pipe setup or are they mounting it on the side of the hull like a RRP/pfp setup?

My h2o box with a B pipe is very loud. Before I added a hose to direct the outlet downwards towards the water, it would occasionaly hurt my ears. But, my long exhaust hose is an aluminum tube with not much hose so I'd assume that amplifies it..

If your running a stock 701 or small displacement motor there is a power loss from stock water box with a B pipe to any of the aftermarket boxes.
Even my water box adds a tiny bit of low end but trades off almost one horse power at 6750rpm.
There three other popular brands that loose over 3hp.

Yes I built that box for Blowsion.
They own the tooling

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it and I think this helps me make my decision. Is there a significsnt noise increase with this box over oem RN?

The shape (fit) and performance of this box sound just like what I am looking for.

I run RRP water box on bpipe. Its much smaller and sits a bit on the side since its meant to go with RRP chamber. It is way better than stock water box.
Its not too loud as other a/m wboxes ive heard. It gives nice deep sound to the 950 dasa. I would def recommend it over any other waterbox regardless if you run 701 or 1100 engine.

Are you feeding water into the waterbox via the fitting on the waterbox itself or just plugging that and using the stinger on the b-pipe to feed the waterbox?

I have the Xmetal in my FS2 with a limited. Fits like it was designed for the hull and is only slightly louder than the stock box. I love it.
