Are you sure you really want me to open that can of worms? I'm not sure anyone(except potential future customers) would benefit.

Charles

You can always PM me.

Just curious as to your opinion and wondering which hull you are referencing.

I want to address the situation with the order that Casey placed on April 15, 2007 for a chin pad that was NOT ever delivered. There is absolutely no excuses or reasons that is was never sent, I simply dropped the ball. So, I have refunded all of his money to the credit card the item was purchased with and shipped a chin pad overnight through UPS to him at no charge. The tracking number is 1Z345R901399004125. This does not make up for time lost that he might have needed it, and to you Casey I offer a public apology.
I would recommend anyone that has a problem with me please email me @ jcurry@waterdawgkustomz.com or call me @ 541-231-6069. I am very hard to get on the phone because of the work load, so email is the best way to reach me. I will always check them late before I leave the shop. With that said, have a great night.

The pole for Mike's hull is still in the assembly process. We have totally redesigned the pole to make it lighter and better looking. The new design is so much nicer than the original design. There were never any problems with how it was built, we just wanted it lighter and better looking. We are building twenty five of them at once. Until you build a full billet pole, you can't understand how much work is involved. There is a ton of machining. I wanted him to have the newer design, but, all he has to do is give me the word and I will send him the original style, I have three of them in stock. Is that the one you want Mike? Or do you want the new design? The poles are still at the welding shop and will be done soon. I was told they would be done sooner, but that is life. I know that they are working hard and it is on there list if things to get done. It does me no good to bitch and moan. As long as the assembly is right that is what matters. I expect no longer than a day or two since it has been a few weeks. About the whole Bonzai Bob issue, I am typing as we speak.

I have been really calm about the whole thing and I dont mind waiting as long as the communication is there and I know whats going on and there are reasonable results hapining, as long as I really do get the new pole soon. So how heavy is it?

Here's a good Shonuff shipping solution:

1. Give your local UPS Store your credit card number to keep on file.
2. Hire a local 16-17 year old kid as an as-needed driver.
3. Keep his/her cell phone number handy to pick up parts and deliver to the aformentioned UPS Store to be shipped.
4. Inform them that if any of your parts get broken, so do their legs.
5. Praise Shonuff's brilliance.

This allows you to focus on your craft and leave the dirty work to others.

shonuff- no doubt you are brilliant- but I have a better solution. does that make me brillianter?

WD should hire said slacker and let him answer the phone and be responsible for shipping parts out. from the sounds of it just having a body to talk to and the ability to ship finished products would improve what- half of all these complaints. maybe the do-boy could also look in on working projects and give updates to worried buyers?

nobody should take anything I say seriously as I am way behind on my work projects too. anyone know where a young punk to hire can be found?

That has BS all over it from beginning to end. Why would you not have sent him the orig pole design that has been sitting in your shop for in the last 5+ months?
Why now are you backpedaling to say its a new design?
Wouldn't you WANT to get rid of (or sell off) the old design pole?
Seems it took 2 months for him to get the footholds ater winning the hull also.

i talked with jeff last oct about putting a 66e in my sj. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately if he doesnt improve his customer service skills it looks like he will gone in no time and no one will buy from him. From what I understand is that he just bites off more than he can chew. He does need someone to answer his phone for him and take care of the small things while he puts his work into getting the products finished in a timely manner. If he could just straighten things out, buckle down, and do what needs to be done I am sure his business would boom. Maybe it is already booming too much and he cant keep up but at the same time he cant afford to pay for help. From what I understand is that he is charging way less than the competition for alot of his stuff. I for one would prolly be looking into one of his hulls or a 66e setup if I had not read the stuff I have. I hope he can change things around.

Jeffs knowledge of parts are what sells, a slacker on the phone may loose alot of sales. PLAN B anyone.
