Waterdawg REV Handlepole

I have been getting a lot of people wanting to know more about our handle pole, so I decided to start this thread to answer any questions and show some pics. The pole is made out of T6061 billet aluminum, no cast parts. The bottom and top pieces are machined from bar stock and the middle is a cold rolled extrusion. Extrusion was chosen for the middle because of its high strength. The grains in the extruded metal make it an idea choice for that area. The skin is made of pre preg composite material, either fiberglass(painted), or visual carbon fiber. The pole is very strong and will stand up to just about anything you can throw at it. It is a new product as far production, but has been getting developed for the last three years. Is it proven? If having Joe Kenney, Eric Malone, etc. ride them, then no. But, I can tell you that I am confident that you can not bend, yet alone break it. The pole weighs 10.5 pounds complete. The chin pad is built in which makes this pole among the lighest available. Most of the weight is at the lower piece, 3.5 pounds, and the pole feels really light when riding. Even if you chose not to use a spring (dual bolt system) the pole is not heavy. I usually only offer the pole, as a novelty, to the customer that purchases a hull. But, after a lot of interest and demand I am going to build them for anyone that wants it. I am currently working on a run of them that will be ready in January. The price is $799. Please call (541)231-6069 if interested or have any questions. Here are some pics to show the lines and features of the pole. Thanks.

Jeff

:haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

Pole, what pole ?

I think that the bottom piece alone has more style than all the OEM skis combined (excluding the 3D as that is a Picasso painting in it self).
I'm sure Mr Eiffel would be proud of the rest.

That thing is sweet. If you want me to test one just go ahead and send it. I'll give you a true surf test on it to see if it can hold up.:Banane01:

I'd like to see more of that Bronco:sneaky:

the lines on the hull are ridiculous.... You were so dead on w/ that design!!! Are you sure you aren't part Italian???

As for the pole... all billet and cold rolled aluminum?.... wow!!!!
That really says a lot. Absolutely off the hook...

I think the founding fathers of Honda and Yamaha would be very proud of WD.

EDIT: I meant Kawi and Yamaha.

Awesome lookin skis, any pics of them in action?

Here are a couple of Rok riding the 1200.......check the height  I bet the tail end if the boat is every bit of 10ft out of the water...........on flatwater!! The boat was not even running right. On that day it had a blown a o-ring and the compression on one cylinder was down quite a bit. There were a couple of other little bugs but they are sorted out now and i hear the 1200 hits way better then it did when Rok rode it.
