Yesterday evening this A/M REV hull was brought over to my house by a very good friend of mine. price was right so i took it. So with the square nose put on hold and hanging from ceiling above the REV, I am going to remove a lot of the carbon reinforcement and glass over to paint Then i am going to go to the underside and patch a crack it has in the bottom of hull and anything else under there. The tray is getting cut out only after i find out what was used in there if it was 2 part foam then its waterlogged then i will cut and remove the foam and replace with closed cell foam. and then the heavy hoodliner is pretty heavy so i will probably make a new one as well then paint it and turf it. It will have a 61x/61x 735cc 83mm bore and ported, Big 44mm sbn, B-pipe, Dual cooling, procool head MSD cdi enhancer adjustable hooker prop 9/15. I will still be needing a roundnose pole and a mid shaft from a roundnose as far as for a handpole anything that will work would be great and a gas tank would be freakin sweet probably just a stock one from a SJ would be fine. Here are some pictures but i will get some current in the works pictures tomorrow. It should be a fun hull for next summer maybe middle of winter.

I just picked up a rev hull Sat for Dana. I will be shortening it 3 in (previous owner began the process but ran out of time) painting it candy pink then building.
I still have yet to cut into it, so I'm not sure what foam was used.

Basically the same build, i have a 735 x\t motor, ADA head (185 psi) duel 44s, boyesen reeds, MSD, b-pipe, solas mag with a 10/17 YQ from impros.

This hull came with the WDK tank form fitted for the hull, which is nice.
But I'm still not sure what Pole to use.
Stock length RN pole still felt a little short. So we're thinking billet RRP.

I've been on a ROK but, I've never riden a REV but the price was right... let the builds begin!

(Ski next to her is the donor ski we picked up locally, "the big ugly" was her name. I believe ROO will be build that hull.)

These sound just like my ski. Im running a jetmaniac freestyle ported motor in my rev.

I seperated my top deck from the bottom though so it is getting pulled apart in about a month for full reinforcement and defoam.

I'm running an adjustable xmetal pole set to -5 with there straight bars so its probably about -7ish and I love it. It made the ski alot more flickable from my -2 xmetal pole.

your pix are small...does that hull have the engine bay drop in shell?

pour some water in that gas tank..make sure it doesnt leak....if it does, it will leak out the bolt holes..

Yea this hull has an insert that's epoxied in. It goes up the sides to about the bond rail, with a layer or 2 of glass over lapping it. We were at first worried water would get under it, but it seem tighter than a whales @$$.

And The tank .......... She holds!!!!!!!!
We checked her out right away.

It has? so no need to open the tray up?

I still have to tear the ski apart because I separated the top and bottom deck from the firewall on the right side all the way to the nose and broke your reinforcement on the inside.
