Damn... I cannot believe that comes stock like that. Why not use a fiberglass/carbon fiber tube and just glass it in? That seems like the best solution to every leaky problem...

I have 2 projects going on and one complete engine pump e_box and so on so i was like well know i got this Rev hull last monday on my birthday and theres the square nose (hanging from ceiling) what one should i build. So i picked the Rev and im going to try have it done befor winter painted everything ready to ride by the way winters first day is december 21st and when its done back on to the square nose to finish up and buy a raider for waverunner and strip it. So the 3rd project is in my way and also not mine. I did help him get started but thats all. The kid is 17 and has never used any tools besides ones for rc cars thats it!!! so i think i have fixed that problem for him ill post pics. He did all the cutting and foam shaping/placing everything.


So other then that tube not connected to can anyone tell me why the one mount is higher in the front then the other one?

picture didn't dose not really show but say you looking at the front of them the left side is 1" taller in the front only back is same at same measurement as both ends on the right side and all the other Rev hulls i look at non of them show these for engine mounts its crazy im lost on that maybe someone else can answer?

Looks like WDK does things a bit differently nowadays.

Rev hull fully defoamed and getting ready to fix all the f**ked up spots with glass then lay in some foamular 150 extruded polystyrene (xps) insulation pink foam and build the tray back with new BOB footholds.

I still have to tear the ski apart because I separated the top and bottom deck from the firewall on the right side all the way to the nose and broke your reinforcement on the inside.

Not to sidetrack VWKing's thread but yes it is filled with polystyrene and I did not reinforce anything but the bondline inside the tray area, the engine compartment is exactly how it comes from WDK.

No guys its all good ANYTHING about a WDK REV HULL post it up. This is as much your guy's place to post as it is mine i am not worried about it at all POST POST away. Anyhow DarkWater called me today with a final empty hull weight and he said his was 88 pounds with hood and still original foam in tray and hood liner :highhorse: this is all good news to me since i defoamed mine and cut out that 7 pound hood liner

well the inside of the tray was soo messed up i have been ripping out bad chop mat glass. will post pics tomorrow

So this piece of crap is delaminating in side tray and in the bilge floor were they attempted to lay carbon fiber wow what a pile of thinking about having a big bone fire tonight.
