more like a 3 legged bar stool than a couch
in a deep water start, it is more like a 2 legged bar stool!

I have a waveblaster (b1), sj roundie, and three-seater sea doo gtx di.

I keep saying I am going to sell the doo, for I have ridden it only three times in three years (if). I love it, yet it is only something extra to keep up with these days. It was fun in the surf (until I rode a stand-up, a b1), carried tons of stuff, easy to take pics from, great for towing and going on 60 mile rides investigating places. Rode it hard, took care of it…always ran great.

The b1 is boring in flat water, yet it is my favorite in bigger surf! It is simply all out fun!

I like my sj for smaller surf and flat water.

I want an FX-1 though, because it is super light and nimble, and they seem to like me a lot! I think I would like it in the surf better than my sj, simply because it is easier to move it around (I am a light weight).

Hope that helps!

funny on the pic Kragus (you are a nut, lol)... I liked the vid you posted; I had never seen it before.

:haha:

But to be serious, I have had numerous sj riders (good ones) try to ride my b1 in flat water, and they took immed nose dives. Just telling it like it IS!

It always cracked me up to see "experience" riders try a B1 for the first time. They fall deep in the water and they are like...."How do you get back on this thing"?

If this site is all about SUs, why are there so many threads about waveblasters? I have seen people get blasted for having a sitdown/couch, but waveblasters are accepted? I'm new to this, but can someone fill me in? Thanks

its because....a true sitdown/ couch is a boat you can relax on....meaning you can sit still in the water and chill and make a phone call or something like that.....blaster 1's are not that way....they require the same or more skill to ride than a stand up....and because they are fun...in and out of the surf:bigok:

I can sit on my b1 when it isn't running, no hands, but most people can not do so easily (or for long). Yet I don't ever sit on my b1, rarely anyway, and I don't usually see too many that do. For me, the seat is used more for balancing really. I want to cut my seat down a bit though, like Eddie's, because I like how the weight is distributed then.

Haven’t you ever tried to ride a b1 before Stan? Anytime I come visit, I always see you on your ski.
