There are no motor shots because I'm just putting in a stockish 61x. I'm building a 61x/62t w/ a cheater pipe but can't wait to ride again. I expect to be riding/deconstrucing my ski this weekend after a couple more odds and ends.

You need to loosen some turf or apply some duct tape because that ski is way to clean to be yours Tim.

Eye brow? are you talking about the nose piece? The engine has plenty of air to breathe. I installed 2 2" tubes in the hood and I have 2 1-7/8" tubes in the pole.

I have one of those hoods also, I installed two 2 1/4 inch tubes inside and two 2 1/4 inch holes in the pole. The ski looks nice.

First off, this thread is awesome. Second, you can polish a turd to be shiny, I've seen it on mythbusters or something. Don't remember where but I know I've seen somebody near mirror finish a turd hahahahahahahaaaa. Third, you're an inspiration and I thought my ski was ugly until I saw ol' shark bite. Thank you. And you remind me of what some of my friends would be if they were into jet skis. But finally, I like the look of the new one, what hood do you have on it? And what kind was the conversion hood that came on your old one?

The old conversion hood was a 24/7 fixed steering conversion hood. Those aren't made anymore but you can get a similar one from tom21 also. http://professionaljetskirepair.com/blog/?page_id=3&category=1&product_id=11

thanks for keeping the old hood going the way it should.

The goal with the nice ski is just to have a clean slate to start my new surf build with. It'll be back to shark attack status eventually.

If it makes you guys feel better, the krylon paint on the hood is starting to oxidize, the automotive trim keeps falling off the right rear corner, and the is bird on the hood.
