Wavejunkies steppin it up to the pontoon

Here is a pic with the sides off. I am taking off the trim tonight and ripping off the rest of the carpet. Then it is on to re-finishing the floor (preferrably with Hydo-turf- waiting on qoute), re-rigging the lights and console, Installing some custome built side rails. and finally installing a new 4 stroke motor. Hopefully it will make its maiden voyage in a couple weeks.

Thanks Edwin. My neighbors are loving the pontoon destruction in front of my house right now. Got the trim and carpet removed tonight. The back piece of plywood needs to be replaced. Also, ordered new aluminum trim and hand rails this afternoon. Looks like I'll be bending and welding this weekend.

it will not be long ,hopefully we can have it in the water for the wavejunkie memorial day camping, riding event, kick off summer right!!!

we have decided to check on one very small issue before doing a bunch more work to the boat. we're gonna check & see if it floats.:cool2: If it doesn't, I think we are just going to get a barge & use couches to push it.

quick update-
Bought a 60hp 4 stroke Yamaha last night. I am reinforcing the transom tomorrow at work. Bought 3 sheets of marine grade plywood (man that is expensive) and painted the bottom side tonight. Ripped off the pieces of plywood I am replacing. Still a long way from hitting the water.
