This motor took a long time to find and git all the parts that i wonted to try, the motor ran good mid to top bottom was soft ended up finding a water injeston problem at the top of the KAW manifold that was killing the bottom end, never tried it after i found the prob moved on to another set up and sold the hull as well.

If i were to do the GP again i would go with X/SCREAM only because they have and you can git parts for them, but its going to cost you $$$$$$.

I went with it last season. Hit hard had way more power than anything else out there on the lake normally. blip the throttle and it would jump out of the water. to much time tuning not enough riding for me. I don't have a lot of time at the lake when I go if i can find the time to go. I finally decided to go with a setup from Zack at PHP this summer so I can just go ride. Believe me it was VERY hard to let some of the parts I had gathered for these motors go.

supposedly the wdk motors last forever and that has value to a lazy POS like me that hates to work on something that runs. beat it till it drops, then fix it or kick it aside and ride another one.

They would last a long time since he doesn't port them. A stock 701 that WDK sold would last a long time too. I've seen quite a few GP800 skis on craigslist for sale cheap over the years needing a crank though. I suspect Chris' 927 and ROK-R hull will limit his pro riding abilities and will be for sale soon. At least he can flip all the chicks in bed that find him on the dating sites...

Its not gonna be what you think. The 1200 feels weak. Seems like its hard to get a good tune on the wdk stuff. not really sure that anyone has,an accurate base line .

billybo455 can tune it. mine hits good for having stock crank pump gas and 190 compression

wdk motors are not ported, but i do have a ported one that i havent ran yet. too lazy to install it. tyrant1919 rides with me all the time with his dasa 850ss. my 8mil 800 R&D pv motor hits way harder, but i'm running TL & novi 48s

you need someone else to try and set up your ski if those motors are hitting harder. just my opinion. why would you have 3 of those motors if they aren't any good?
