like i said before, those were the baddest on the planet when they came out, but the sport and tech has advanced big time in the last few years. i dont think the future was considered when these were designed and i dont think there is any way to remove material to gain the power we want, without burning into a water jacket. its old tech and just like a cyl thats been over ported, you cant put the material back.

supposedly the wdk motors last forever and that has value to a lazy POS like me that hates to work on something that runs. beat it till it drops, then fix it or kick it aside and ride another one.

TeamScream has recently gone to this platform.

This thread went to crap...

I feel like anything that says WDK, translates to Trainwreck threads...

Maybe i should have rephrased the initial question to have people who only have ridden one chime in

Full specs.. 155/148 mag.. Total loss/Advent... WDK wet pipe, etc...

That pipe is definitely not part of "all the best parts" but the manifold can probably be made accept a proper chamber.
I still think these motors can put down some good power with less cost, it's to bad they never really caught on. The cases HAVE to be able to flow more, the intake is huge, the stroke is longer and they have more ports.

And the exhaust port is tiny with no room to open it up. The buzzard has a prototype with larger ports but hes too lazy to try it. I've been bitching at him like everynight. "dude put some real carbs on that thing and lets try it!!!"

something has to have off the hook HP before i can call it an arm yanker. dasa 1000 and WDK 1200 has good power. i'm very greedy. and then those 66e cases get epoxied and hogged out big time to accommodate the sleeves for the 98mm pistons.
