I picked this rev hull up from a guy around town that never finished it for a really good price with everything he had to make a complete ski. Well its about 75% DONE so i just wanted to share my pictures with you guys and get ur info and likes and dislikes about what i have got going on so with that said here are some pictures of what it looked like when i got started.

After i got done cutting grinding cleaning and getting it ready for its new life, i began to rip out every single cooling line exhaust and drive lines all to be replaced with brand new stuff. i ended up adding 2 1/2" aluminum exhaust tube along with a one way valve and new 1/2" aluminum water lines along with a trim tube. The hull its self had 3 massive cracks on the bottom of it so i patched them all up with 1708 cloth. I pulled out the motor plate and re mounted them in the hull to get the motor and mid shaft better aligned. made a new hood liner from carbon fiber as well added lots of carbon in other areas to try and save some weight (DID NOT END UP SAVING ANY WEIGHT LOL) after getting the tray back together i decided that adjustable bob foot holds would be a nice thing to add so i bought a set and got them put in place. there is probably alot im forgetting so please ask any questions u would like and i will be more then happy to answer them. More pictures :)

Looks great, clean built!!

You had a chance to weight it?

Yes i have had a chance to weigh it, The hull, hood, hood liner, and handpole bracket came in at 110 pounds. and thats just about 15 pounds over stock weight at 95 pounds. So my thoughts on that is 15 extra pounds = more strength lol. WP_20130415_002.jpg

Thanks for all the good comments. I also replaced every single threaded insert in the entire ski. God this thing turned out to be a major project. Good news is i have every parts but a pump shoe and hyrdo turf and maybe a few other little things. As for paint its going to be a really bright red with gold accents and thinkin about maybe throwing another color in there but not sure what u guys think?

Looks like you've done a lot of work!
I really like the color on the pole! Candy/Metallic gold is the poop!

Are you thinking flat red or metallic? I guess flat is generally brighter...

Gold works well with a lot of colors. Green, Blue, Red, Black, can't go wrong with any of those really.

Maybe look at Turf colors to make your decision? I think black and gold, with Snow Camo and Black diamond turf would be killer.
Hell, flat black and gold would be tuff looking.

Damn i really like ur idea's. the pole has actually been anodized gold and im having more done as welll. The one bummer with paint is i already went and bought the dupont nason guards red so im pretty set on using it. i was tempted to lay this gold carbon/fiberglass cloth on the bottom but i didnt. here are a couple more pics.

Been seeing lots of fancy paint ,Though cool to look at , I guess it depends how as a rider you treat your ski . For me that fancy paint would drive me nuts trying not to mess up . I prefer my ski to be more like a mx bike with graphics and stickers and the rest I can repair if I damage. Cause I sometimes do damage.a solid color migh be kind of sick ! It's all personal preference I guess ?

Hang in there man. I've been working on my RN for what seems like decades, I'm sick of working in it too. But it's almost done, and it'll all be worth it when you're on the water.

Have you ever ridden on of those before or are you flying blind?

i have never rode a freestyle ski, But had a kawasaki 650 3 years ago rode thst stupid thing litterly everydsy after work and weekends ALL summer untill i crack the hull from the bottom up. sold it and then last winter bought a super jet that i thought was good well that thing was another story for another day tryed to fix it and ended up with this Rev. This Pos was water looged to hell has 1/4 inch of standing water in it after i defoamed it holes every where and all the threaded inserts were junk along with the exhaust and all the other lines replaced resealed layed 20oz carbon over pump tunnel and put that pink foam in the bottom of tray used a litttle bit of foam to get the shap of tray i wanted (IMO foam is a waste of time/pain in the ass to shape and cut perfect next time im doing some kinda airbag or come up with a way to make the tray air tight) then after i got my shape with 2 part foam i layed 3 layers of 19.6oz toray carbon fiber to buil the tray back. thought BOB holds would be cool cuz i have yet to see them in anything other then a SJ. then patched all the holes. and know just finishing thing up and prepping for paint. Sorry about my poor ass typing/spelling but if i spend all my time learning proper english i wouldnt be building jetskis.
