Surfriding Wear ring from corrosion hell!

I have seen many wear rings swelled and ruined by corrosion but this one is especially nasty!

Outer aluminum housing is split open, broken and corroded lip. The liner is swollen, blistered, and someone ground parts of it off and ran it again!!
