Took my SN out for the first time yesterday and I am getting some water inside of it. Wondering what you guys are doing for hood seals as well as any other ways to keep the water out.

I was thinking of running those frog skinz over the front holes on the hood. Any thoughts or experiences with them?

I don't veer from OEM much, but I like the Watcon hoodseals. OEM are probably better except for the $$$.

Just used some weather stripping type sticky deal on buds ski. Not expecting much, being its just the trial ride to get the motor dialed. But it actually looks like it might work well. If so Ill post up a link.

I swear that surf seal eevryone buys is just some weather stripping for a certain car door, or maybe a sliding glass door, its prob like 50 cents a foot if someone can source it

I use the "surf seal" on both my B1's and am pretty happy so far. As far as the .50 cents a foot you are probably correct but the guy sells them pretty cheap and I'm to lazy to look somewhere else whe this dude has it for like $20

Yep Home depot/Lowe's has it. It's like 2.50 for a roll, more than enough. I've had mine on for a while, works great!! Just put over oem

There are holes on the rear of a stock hood.

That's true, but you won't get much air flow with just the rear. Here's an example, when/if you have smoke in your house and you open up a window, the smoke does go out, but very slowly, open up another window at the other end of the room, and the smoke will be gone in no rime. Get what i mean?

Yea I can see where you would think that, but your wrong. Air goes in the rear holes and out the exhaust.
