I get the can I ride it all the time... Normally my response is "sure, my daughter can do it why can't you." (most of the time i get a weird ass look, being that I'm only 23 and look pretty young) They most of the time take it as a dare. Most get about 50 ft, and 3-5 attempts and then float it... And are super pissed, ask about my daughter. (if she's with me) She runs over jumps on and we both go off, and they get pissed and just walk away... She's almost 4.

i had an epic one this weekend guy comes up to me at the beach talking to me about his 2 650sx asks what i got done i lift the hood and mention i have a factory pipe he goes, oh you still got your factory pipe? i say yeah and give him a wtf look he goes i got aftermarket exhaust on my skis. :facepalm

Couple weeks ago me and Whitca were working on my ski in his garage. Pizza delivery guy comes up (this Asian guy looking just like the Asian dude on Hangover). He points at my ski and blurts out: "Hey, what that?! A skateboard?"

A couple of weeks back I was riding and some guy kept putting around on an old Waveraider, when I came in to put it up he comes over and says hey I haven't ever seen anything jump out of the water like that before,is that some kind of trick ski? I replied why yes it certainly is.

A few weeks ago we're heading for the lake and stopped by the liquor store. There's a guy and his 5ish yr old son looking at the skis on the trailer. 3 seater, b1 and my rn. The kid is asking my how it goes and I show him. His dad says "that's old school!" his kid says "I like it the best" woo!

I was with Boyer and we were launching at a boat ramp some guy pulled up with some yamaha 760 sit downs. I forget if he asked if they still make those to start the conversation. Anyway, the next questions was what kind of motor is in there. Boyer replied " this little thing as the same engine as yours."

I usually just get asked if they still make those. I was up at Torch Lake for labor day and a Guy asked me that and I said "yes they do still make them" and he looked at mine as I was doing a little wrenching (on the trailer before launching) and said " That's gotta be a old one though." I was displeased to say the least so i just replied with a little fib and said no its a 2009.
