300/440/550 what is this waterbox.....whats it too???

can anyone PLEASE tell me what the hell this water box goes too!?!?! i bought a coffman pipe for a kawasaki 650sx and he sent this too me too? and i have no idea what it goes to and i know that it will not fit mine or anything else i have seen!!!

That looks like a Jetcraft Engineering JS550 waterbox. It just sits all the way up in the nose of the ski. Mine is wrapped with some HydroTurf and rubber strapped down. It sounds way good with a healthy 750 and rear exhaust.

Yes, 550 Jetcraft Turbomuff. Probably the best 550 waterbox ever built. Very valuable. They went for $140 new back in the early/mid 90's.

Bad Bones was very loud, Jetcraft is not, yet it's still a straight through open design. It has/had a spiral louver pattern on the inside tube that gave it a deep tone and kept the water in the exhaust stream.

exhaust on the 550 either goes out the right,left side or the rear depending on the year,theres a funky curved pipe that redirects it to the left side on the early year skis.

I hate to say you are wrong but well ,the bad bones also has the louvers inside just like the jetcraft,I know this because I have one on my 550,been running it for years,I recently cut the curved ends off of it to put on the 300sx hull 550 project ski,you can clearly see the louvers inside,also it is not loud unless you are not running the correct amount of water through it..
