this is true and not so true...you have to look at it from both sides of the coin
while we might never meet all of the poeple that we chat with on the web, it allows a whole new era of information sharing that in the past was NEVER possible
think about it...without the internet woud you have a superjet?
if you did, you'd likely ride alone...never having met the boys
there are people from east to west coast that I have never met, but would consider them friends and would not hesitate to open my home to them......

#1. The info sharing is priceless. I appreciate all the info I get thru this site. Not only does it often save time, but it often saves money.
#2. I had a superjet and was riding the spot b4 I knew that XH20 exsisted! It was you guys that told me to check out the site!
#3. I'm not downing the site or the members. I too, feel like a lot of folks on here are friends even though we've never met.
The point I was trying to make (poorly) was that whatever goes on on pwct goes on here.
If you're more comfortable there, you might say the same about xh20.
And, buying and selling: I was not talking about big names.. but personal one-on-one deals. I've had a 99% success rate here. But I have been screwed. By a member that was well known, posted often and I thought was a friend.

pwct is like a family practicioner. Problems are often dealt with without further care. They deal with all kinds of pwc issues. But specialize in few.
xh20 is like a specialist. If you have a problem with a stand-up freestyle ski, this is where you're gonna end up anyway. F all the co-pays.
If you know you have a stand-up freestyle issue, (other than selling parts), why not go straight to the specialist?
No referral is needed.

I find myself posting less and less over there.
The groups running around remind me way too much of high school BS. Someone will obviously do something that is wrong(such as post dump in the classifieds)..you call them out on it, and then all their buddies jump you like you were the person in the wrong.
There is a certain amount of Moderation that is needed in order for a site to grow and move forward in a positive manner. That site is growing, yes...but its not moving forward in a positive manner at all. Most of the new threads/posts being created are just simply BS that people put up only to increase their post count.
There are alot of good people, and alot of good info over there...but it quickly gets hidden by the masses of idiots that constantly troll the forum.
