I told him to take his idle threats and shove em.

Here's what he sent me in a PM over there:

"Idle threats? Be prepared to get knocked out next time u show up there..if u think I'm joking you are sorely mistaken. Myspace?? Sorry I don't have that, your the la ***. I will literally dump 5 gallons of fuel on your ski and burn it if u show up again. Try it. I dare u.

FYI besides the fact that I will smash your teeth out of your face if u show up again the lifeguards will be back starting next week and you will not be allowed to ride don't waste your gas money. Go ride Oceanside with your ***got friends"

damn man, you should have ta cram someones old lady or somethin' to invoke that sort of response. I mean seriously, if the dude poured gas on my ski and torched it, he'd better be keepin his woman close to his side...lol, because that's what it's gonna cost him : ) (unless she's ugly, then I'll just have to find somethin else ta take)...lol

I agree with the most points here. I'm not a fan of people trash talking a person's ski or the type of ski just because they don't like it. It all boils down to the same end result. If someone were to tell you your ski is a POS with no provocation, you're going to be mad. It happened to me over at pwct recently. Someone had a good thread going which held awesome info for people with a similar model of ski to mine, someone thread jacked it and started trash talking the ski because it wasn't what they have. Regardless of the machine, aren't we all in it together to promote the sport? Either way, I'm glad to see that kind of attitude hardly ever turns up on here.

The real difference between here and pwct=people at pwct have thick skin and alot of people here are whiny lil bytches!!!

That's a good point and really there isn't much if any difference I suppose. But in one respect, newcomers to these sites can get a bit of an idea on what to expect from other sites if people offer up their experiences in these types of threads. Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to look for the useful info there if I can't find it here. I'm not saying the site itself is a problem, just the recent morality over there has been a bit of drag. I guess it's going to happen everywhere though but it seems to be less often here and on Greenhulk than over there. Ah well, what can ya do right? But that's just my not so .02 worth on the topic.

Different strokes for different folks. The two sites are a bit different, it would be sad and boring if they were the same.

Both sites have their in-cliques and it is naturally hard for either one to like the other one because of it.

Yeah, I don't think people realize how nice they have it selling on sites like here and pwctoday.

For everyone else: it's $2 for a classified, and that's for one item/bike. I think you can then post it once in the forums but have to mention it's paid spam or something. Try to get around and it you'll probably end up banned.

You cannot have a link in your sig for a business/forum/etc, and if you're affiliated with any company you have to put a disclaimer in your sig to that effect so people know you are probably biased.
