Just turned 43, been riding for a decade, wrenching for 11 years. Rented a stand-up in Hawaii when I was 14, on a family vacation. Was that or ride with my mom on a couch :( I learned to ride that rental 550 in seconds.

15 years later I built a house on a lake and found 2 550's with killer paint jobs and too many mechanical issues to list. Finally got them running and progressed from there.. Well, mechanical skills progressed, not sure about riding skills

Gotta love the garden carts.

22, been on skis for oh, 3 months? built a ford ranger prerunner before these. too many hobbies, too little cash.

43. Got into it because I thought the new 88 waverunners I saw on tv and up the road @ Yamaha looked fun and cool and I wanted to build credit..lol? So I got one, and loved riding around the islands here with the girlfriend. Then saw everyone riding standups especially @ .10 cent bridge with buoys set up each weekend. Got bored on the waverunner in about 2 months, then got a used 90 superjet and wanted to race. Then bought a new FX-1 in 96. Been riding saltwater every year since 88. Some years more often than others as life allows.
I'll give up my ski when they pry it from my cold dead hands. I don't ever consider giving it up. It's a lifestyle and the only reason I deal with Florida. My 16 yr old nephew seems to have caught the bug a bit. He's been setting up the square for himself. All I ride is the FX-1, so the square is his to molest now.
