What kind of 2 stroke premix do you use????

It has worked all last summer just fine ( I have ridden and hard as it would go)
but it smells NASTY and I don't think it is the right thing to be using in my Jet Ski anymore.

I would not trust that weed eater oil. Look and make sure it is TCW-3. I'm willing to be it isn't. Spend a little extra on TCW-3 oil because it will cost you alot more if you don't.
I will tell you I run 927 as well. I don't ride as much as most people so the cost of it don't effect me as much. If I rode all the time I would just run Quicksilver or Penzoil.

after reading those links I changed my mind and ordered some
Maxima Marine Pro TCW3 ( I think I will use it at 32:1 like Watcon suggested)
I think I will be very pleased with it
and I think I got a good price from Parker Yamaha

If you run a lower ratio, e.g. 32:1 instead of 50:1, are you gonna get more smoke?

I'd like to lube as much as possible, but keep the exhaust pretty clean.

I'm usually pouring out of a gallon jug with only quart markings, so the "how steady my hand is that morning" defineatly applies.

It does smell nice(part of it is the fuel too), but it's Klotz Benol or occasionally Maxima 927, although R50 is VERY good oil(and smells ok too). Dominator is excellent too, IMO. I run 32:1 also.
