What kinds of different riding footage do we want/need?

Man those pictures are awesome....where is that at?

I say anything (riding)
I mean this is what everyone all over the world does, so whatever you do to get your fix counts in my book.....
We got sloughs, surf, Yacht wake chasing, lakes and probably more that I have not heard about yet in Norcal.....

You talking about ketchikan? I'd rather kitesurf in ketchikan on the windiest day than boat in Skagway on a normal day. None the less, if Alaska were ever to be a part of it, the best place to hit up would be turnigain arm during a bore tide!

You guys are stuck in a summer frame of mind. Its almost winter here in Canada, so why not footage of riding in a snow storm or with ice all around you? I know the ride yesterday was at the freezing mark.

That would be good to include. Good idea.

Helmet cams have issues with low temps. They fog up and go through batteries like crazy unless you put a coat on them.

We are in also denial that summer is over and can't accept it. :smile:

The Columbia river here in Oregon is still 59 degrees. I have plans to ride this afternoon. The Salmon river video I posted two posts back was October 2007. Not what we call summer here.

I started this for suggestions, that's a great one. We're not 'stuck', it's just that we don't get a lot of snow here so riding in those conditions isn't on my mind..

I am planning A Niagara trip for next year...so I got the rapids covered.

I am gonna edit the heck out of it, so it will be good....I am gonna collect footage from others with helmet cams too.

Do you think we should mix in helmet and non helmet footage? I think it would be more interesting that way... I am sure this X Cam will help us get some killer new locations! Lets get it out there! I would like to get like 40 locations and just use the best footage from each. We just need to keep records of riders/skis/locations. So whoever gets the cam, send the info back with your footage

If I was pushed hard enough I can get you ice riding footage with my GoPro Hero Wide. I live in the right spot, and I've done it before but dam does it take motivation.... : )

I got the bow eye mount from Kurt snowxr today, very nice and simple and easy to use. Should work well.
