I want to go aluminum, the stock plastic finally crapped out. Whats everyone going with these days?

This is what I found--

JD and Blowsion-- seem to require lotta grinding and intake tapping.

XR-tech --read good things but seems unavailable now

Worx-- can't find much info for use on blasters

FYI I sent a email to Kyle to ask about fitment for the worx superjet pump shoe. He said they haven't had anyone who had problems installing them on blasters. NO grinding and pre-drilled and tapped. They are a little more money, but if it's no hassle. Anyone have experience with these before I drop the $$$$$$. For me, time is money. And I really don't want to spend 3 hrs. grinding per one guys post. Snowxr's sound better, but if he's not making them, this is the next best thing allegedly.

The blaster shoe is longer than the sj they Will fit but not perfect have the same problem and was woundering what People do with it since the sj is shorter than the wb ? Do People glass it in to get perfect fit or ?

I've read every thread on this subject. Some people install and leave the gap . Others fill in with marine tech or similar product. I guess it depend how picky you are and how perfect you want your craft. My worx shoe is coming tomorrow and I will post how the install goes with pictures. I was so close to just getting a oem one, but at the last minute, I decide to email worx. "kyle" emailed me back and said no grinding necessary. I replyed No grinding. he said no grinding. I aked if there were any other thing about the install I should know. he said , It's straight forward.. So we'll see. I plan to use marine tex to fill in. here's a link. I hope it's the right stuff. http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001446LKO?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00

Use an epoxy mix w/ cabosil , or g- flex w/ 404 like I did. After I set the shoe and epoxy started to harden I smoothed it in the gaps.
I am not sure how jb weld holds when submerged in water.
