Steve will use whatever excuse he can. People say he always comes through. How can you be so sure. This guy hasnt been in the business very long. He didnt come thrpugh for me. He didnt come through for christian. Havent seen people get replacement hulls yet. I asked for a surf layup and got a hull that didnt even last a month. That is why this time around I went with a proven product from a legit company.

You are right, it does, but this guy has been waiting since finals last year (7 months ago) AND we all know you're a fanboy...

Im not a fanboy. I dont even own an aftermarket hull. I havent even really stuck up for Steve. I was only pointing out that perfecting a mold takes a lot of time. I think what Steve is doing is absolutely wrong and his communication suck...I would be furious. So yea...fan boy.

Have you ever made a mold? And im not talking something like a chin pad mold....A hull mold or a hood mold? Takes a lottttttt to get right.

It doesn't take 7 months if you know what you're doing. If it's a business and it's your job once you have a plug, week tops. But as I said "if you know what you're doing". I think people just buy them cause they're cheap and they want to be in the cool kids club of am hulls.

No, I haven't and that's why I asked...but I'd find it hard to believe he's prioritizing said mold when months go by before that's even the excuse. What was he doing before making the mold that it's an issue months later?

After reading much of this thread, it sounds like this Steve guy knows how to make hulls but it's probably not his primary business...and if it is, well, I wouldn't be supporting it.. that's for damn sure.

i would like to see all the hull builders put their hulls up for compairison and i mean right after they are popped out of the mold. that will tell you exactly who took their time and made the mold right. anybody can slap a bunch of putty on a hull after its popped, sand and paint it to make it look good. not defending steve here, just saying any hillbilly can pop a hull out, but that doesnt mean its quality.
