What to do w extra hulls?

I have a 550 hull in crappy shape, and a 440 in better shape w an old stock 440 engine. Looking for a winter project to take on, and would love an extra ski for beater/friends. Is that 440 motor worth messing w, or are they really that underpowered? Might be able to get my hands on a 650 engine if its worth doing a conversion. Give me some suggestions! Not opposed to cutting and glassing btw. Shortened hull/tray? Worth it?

The flat deck 550's with 701's in them look fun. But no matter how much time and money you put into it you will be better off with a superjet or a/m ski.

I think u should keep the 440 beater from the friends and see if u cant find a 650 square or 650 kawaski for yourself.....

I have a 2003 superjet, and a 650sx as well that are both complete. Thinking of selling the 650 to put some $ into the superjet, but then id lose my friend ski, so thats why I thought I should do something w the 440 or 550
