Surfriding What to do when your ski dies in the waves?

Least you could walk it off. How did the break happen? Glad u were there to bring him to shore.

He said his foot got stuck in the foothold and he hit a wave funny causing his body to go over the side of the ski.....With his foot in the foothold the gunwale acted as a fulcrum. Snap.
It was nasty to say the least and he was in a TON of pain. I'm just thankful the waves weren't bigger and we were probably only 150ft to 200ft from shore.
