Super Jet What tubbies

Bringing an old post to life. Looking for tubbies for a 2004 SJ.

Have read a lot of good things about Tom21, can't get a hold of him though.

See Carter B has some on Ebay, have reached out twice for some info through Ebay not contact.

Blowsion Destroyers still a good option?

After seeing the Carter Bs' I'm concerned about ease of installation. Any input on the process? It seem like they are hollow on the back side and need to be glassed in. Not as easily bolted on. The Destroyers appear to be solid and need only 3 bolts and maybe some 5200 on the backside if needed?

But again I dont know, I'm trying to figure it all out through pictures, more than open to input.

If you get destroyers, mount them as high up as possible against the bond rail. So they are not flush with the bottom of your Hull. Have them be up on the side ever so slightly. Also I’d skip (5200 glueing and bolting) and just use the 3 bolts... I did both and could not remove them later..

i just put a set of pwc on mine yesterday. Very easy to install they look and fit good. I don’t have actual feedback of riding with them yet though.

I just bought a pair of destroyer 2 tubbies a few months ago and WOW what a difference in handling, also put rear sponsons. Got the tubbies at standupparts.com, very good interaction and quick ship. Peeps are on it over there. Got the rear sponsons from prowatercraft, made a huge difference in hooking up the rear.

Carter Bs bolt on sponsons are great, simple install you just have to supply the hardware.
I've had both these and Blowsion destroyers, each ride great, each are easy to install. Fit and finish is a bit better on the Destroyers but they're also heavier.
