what's the best MPG you get in tow?

so far the best i've gotten was with an 86 honda accord, 2 skis in tow, got 28 MPG, with a 6 cyl eclipse i got 25 with 2 skis,

My jeep gets 16.8mpg pretty consistantly with the trailer & 2skis @70-75mph....its sucks.

one superjet from MI to here I was getting 30 plus in the civic. the 4runner only gets 17 going 65 mph. sucks.

civic was pulling a light weight single and the 4runner pulls my heavy double with 2 skis.

26-27 with the Accord, but my trailer is a heavy double that weighs over 600lbs by itself. 22 with my Element, around 20 with my old S-10, over 30 with my Saturn SC back in the day.

In my Ranger 4.0 4x4 18 with 2 skis in the bed, 17 with two on the trailer. Got about 40 with a js440 in the hatch of a TDI golf once.

Is that a miss print? I thought those were only good for about 28mpg on the highway with no load???

If thats correct, that will likely be my next vehicle.

If not i will be going with a manual civiz for sure!

is that instantenous mileage @ speed or over the whole trip? those two numbers will be very different.
