So i cant finish some of the odds and ends.I like the bearing idea but u cant get the throw out of it..right?Im looking to get max, what is max anyway?

you can get A LOT of throw out of the raider trim, try to stick with it if you already have it.

the virgin is not the same as the wammers . the wammers is the same as the ez-pull thrust innovations . i also have a straight pull versionb which is what everyone that has one is using ,due to it allowing more trim . i also give you the pro-tec nozzle which is about $70 more than the oem metal nozzle he is using . i will have the yamaha plastic nozzle available for our system in a few weeks and be reducing the savings by $60 so a complete kit will then be $640.00 thanx guys

does the ez pull lack the trim due to the fact u would haveto pull the lever more?coulnt
u use a custom lever with more space between the bars and the lever...thus more trim?

think it just loses a few degrees for the pully.

does the nozzle really need to be bored to 85 for surf riding? this seems like one of those I cant tell the difference mods

with the single pulley you can get more out of the lever by having more through , but you still are only getting 1/2 inch of pull for every 1 inch you are pulling this the issue it is better suited for a race application where you only need small amounts of down trim . but it is being completely redeveloped by thrust innovations and come as a future product.
Yes that is a complete system $700 and when the new bushings are done you will be able to get the oem nozzle for $640 complete

Virgin do you have pics of your set up? I"m very interested, I will be buying a trim in the next month. I Was leaning towards wammers, would liek to check yours out. Your saying a straight pull is better then one with a pully? The pully makes it easier to pull correct?

that is yet to be determined,if its twice as easy and you lose 5 degrees i could live with that, since most peps say ya dont need to trim at all to backy in the surf anyway I dont wana have to let off if im using it on a steep top turn wave and dont wana nose in.but i am trying the straight pull first just to see. looking forward to seeing this reworked easy pull virgin is talking about.

:twak:I read this stuff and always get messed up ? Do I miss something here? If I wanted a trim for just wanna be freestyle fun - whats the easiest set up? I don't get the boring noozle out thing? Can't I just order a kit that has everything? Except maybe lever?

And does one have to drill another hole in the hull for the cable?

I just wanna pay the $400 - ok $600 for everything and bolt it on? Is that possible?:261:

you can check us out at thrustinnovations.com
the only reason gil or others are talking about boring nozzles is to due installing a bigger powerplant . if you a running a 5mil lamey yes you would want to bore the nozzle to 86-87mm . which is available at time of purchase . but you will always have to make a new hole in your hull to run the cable (it is just life of modifying ) My system is $695 out the door everything there to bolt and ride .

The straight pull system from Thrust Innovations easily competes for the best trim system on the market. I installed one on my blaster several months ago. The whole kit is very well designed and the machine work is top notch.

I would go with a straight pull system, the throw is amazing and it's really NOT very tough to pull.

jerry, can you pull it under a load on a surf turn? Didnt know you had one on a b1,has it helped your backie attempts any?
