Usually when Jett does this it is to address back end updates so all of you can have a safe and spam/virus/hack free experience while visiting the X...
The window dressing is usually the last thing put back together. Personally, I will take safety over looks and let Jett do what he has to do and not complain...better than getting nasties on your comp for the sake of a background color or nav bar...

since the update i have all the adverts back and my messages capacity has dropped down
i renewed my subcription last week... messaged Jett so maybe its just a coicidence...
