Bring out the thick wetsuit and ride. I ride all year long and if I am not riding I am surfing, either way I spend time in the water......I am a amphibious.

ill probably ride once on the lake in the winter, i rally need to reinforce\fix holes and fiberglass cracks and stuff and repaint, but theres no sense in doing that since im planning on doing a topdeck conversion once i get a job

Good start....I'd go with the Trinity footholds. (great choice on the bilge!).
Other cheap mods for more brap...send your flywheel and head to Paul at LPW for a cut and lightening...
also, get some hoodstraps:sneaky:


I have small plans for mine....Dakine straps, update my brapstrap to stainless....not sure what else.

Well this is mine.....

Pretty new to the game so ive been debating on all the mods that I plan on attempting to get installed this winter. My 09 SXR is bone stock right now (just picked up two of them in July) except a versiplug-r and blowsion mat lifters. This is my plan in no particular order ....

0* bars
ODI grips
750 Rulemate bilge
foot holds (thinking of kickers)
limiting rope
cut stock rideplate

Still getting the hang of basic flatwater tricks and do not ride surf so I think that should set me up for next season. I dont expect to create a freestyle boat.....its an SXR....so please save the BS. I cant go crazy on the mods because the wife cuts me off otherwise the list would be larger. I chose all of the above based on the amount of money I think I can allocate to my ski this winter (about $600)......keeping in mind I have to mod her SXR too.

Any suggestions?

I think next year I will go for the factory pipe or a new handle pole

do it. I didn't ride late spring or all summer. I don't feel like I've missed anything.

I'm getting my ski ready now to ride this fall/winter. the best waves of the year are not here yet!

I live in Washington State. My plan is also to ride fall, winter, spring.
A good wetsuit is a great investment.
