Hard to beat these old tools. They have been around the block 20+ years and still dead nuts accurate.

I have always used the standard $40 Mititoyo calipers that WD posted earlier. Can't remember where I picked them up but they have served me well for the past 20 years at least.

For repetitive measurements of the same item, I would probably use a gauge stand with a dial indicator. We use the very expensive versions of these extensively in our labs at work.

This one is only $50, and it's in California.

Nothing exciting
I'm guessing he's working on a set of match grade reloads. ;)

Nailed it. I want to stretch my lil' .284 to 2600 yards at a semi local match. Most people are using 338, 375 416 and 50bmg. If my little 180gr bullets deviate even a few fps between shots it will be the difference between hitting the target or hitting the ground a few hundred yards before the target.

Wife showing me how it's done. Rifle is insane, I can put anyone behind it and have them hitting half clay pigeons at 520yrds. (furthest my local range goes out)

Guess it's time to make coffee run the dogs and make Susan a nice breakfast.

Something quite comforting about riding near a big armored bi*ch like that. You can see her and you know damn well theirs eyes on you from the bridge.. Yet all on the same team. Thank you for your service Alex.
They were actually further away than it may look. Doubt they ever saw me playing on the shore. Plus they tend to shut SPY down close to shore so as to not mess with the radars at the airport, so they probably didn't pick me up as an air contact either...!

I had a custom FSP Viking. Loved that gun. Fast, silky smooth, didn't chop a lot of paint, very reliable. I sold all my gear about 5 years ago. Haven't played in ages.
