Caught one little Coho, probably not even worth showing, but got to see some whales breaching in the distance, dolphins feeding all around us and then finished off by feeding fish innards to Fred the Seal.

Sounds like a GREAT day. When I was down the Cape this year the Striper were nowhere to be found. The whales though were EVERYWHERE. All the charter fisherman had Whale Watch signs covering over their fishing charter signs. We were trolling and pulling lobster pots in my buddy's boat right off Race Point and we were pretty much tripping over the damn whales. It was fantastic. No striper, but we got into some monstrous bluefish on light tackle taking off the surface. What a blast.

Finally decided to retire my old Fastrak. It ran and cut great but little things were always going wrong with it all the time. I sold it in less than 24 hrs on CL for what I bought it for five years ago and picked this one up today. 2016 Fastrak SDX. Should be the last one I buy for many years.

Almost there. Got the trim all worked just to find after water testing my bottom carb isn't putting out all it should. Back to the shop in the am. Good thing it's a great friend and works for food lol. Even got him to come out last minute and do some trouble shooting on the water right at dark tonight. Couldn't ask for more. This is service right here. He put off a date to come help me. Not many men would do that.

My brother-in-law surprised me with an entry into a Disccraft Ace Race today.
We drove 3 hrs up Island to Campbell river and played 2 rounds in the rain. No Aces or metal on my score card but the players package and door prizes were worth the trip.
