Pretty sure I’m going to need to do this job on my wife’s Pacifica. Dorman part is made of metal and doesn’t leak like the plastic oem one right?

Correct. Its an aluminum housing, comes with new oil cooler and all the intake gaskets as well. This is the second one I have done. Not sure what the access is like on the Pacifica but the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee I have done were pretty open and straightforward.

Got that right. I had a JK wrangler in here last week with a burnt exhaust valve on cylinder 1. Tried to buy it cheap and throw a head on it. They wanted too much in my opinion so I let it go. Tonights project was letting my boys paint some POR15 on the firewall of my jeep tub20250210_155712.jpg20250210_195429.jpgand then we hauled home the donor tub with all the interior I am swapping into this tub 20250210_195415.jpg

I had that exact same truck back in the day, ran an OSMax engine and red MIP stinger pipe. It was quick! Not sure what wore out first .. the rear tires or plastic spur gear many a time
I had a XXT CR growing up. Still remember the Saturday I got it. Waited for the mail man at the mailbox for my paper route paycheck, biked to the bank as fast as I could to cash it before they closed at noon. Then had to convince my mom to drive across town to buy it at the local hobby store.
This will be my first Losi Nitro, had a T-Maxx in high school.

Put on the second coat of stain on my ramp, I ran out of stain the first go around, this stain was a slightly different shade so I restained the whole thing, this one is called fire Mahogony , it looks much better now.

The latest project was redoing this front porch , repainted all the columns , trim pieces and shutters , I added the stained trim , added the white trim above it ,repainted the ceiling, added the entryway lights and the LED light up top .

I repainted the porch swing and Adirondak chair to match , I still have to wash the siding down, get up the white paint spills and pressure wash the concrete but it's looking pretty damn good to me .

The stained trim was made from repurposed heart pine 1 x 6's off of the back porch roof , I ripped it all down and cut in a trim detail similar to base molding with an old Craftsman molding cutter head that goes on the table saw then stained it with the same stain as the ramp , red Mahogony .
