A Lady at work broke her foot and asked for a wheel chair. I brought one in and the other ladies made these, they said she’ll prolly sign it lol. This other sign they put on the back of the chair all as a joke… thought was hella funny..

Jet ski season is over and that means it 's time to start on the honey - do list , first up is repainting the front porch post and the shutters green and replacing the front entryway lights , the second is repairing the roof on the back porch , it had quite a bit of rot and water damage , I started on it Yesterday morning taking down the ceiling, today I am taking off the soffit and the bad sections of the roof and decking , I also have to replace three rafters and two ceiling joists , not sure why but they used 4 x4's for the ceiling joists, weird , the rafters will be cut off and sistered together so they will be doubled up on the ends , this house is well over 50 years old so the decking is 1 x 6 non pressure treated pine lumber , I will be replacing the damaged decking with treated plywood and reroofing at least half of the roof .

Doing this in an different way since I am working by myself on this one , I am working mostly from the bottom side , I used a railroad jack and a 4 x 4 to push up on the 1 x's from the bottom , then a sawzall to cut the nails then I cut through the board and remove the roof in sections sawing through the boards and the roofing .

This last pic is a railroad jack , I know most here have never seen one before , it's a very simple mechanism that will lift tremendous amounts of weight and hold it there , I have used it to pick up sections of a house before while making repairs , it is quite simply a freaking beast . This one is the smaller aluminum version , it's probably quite rare , I also have a much larger cast iron version .

This is where I worked today, the place is in Coosa Co. , AL and belongs to a customer I have known almost as long as I have worked on skis. I am the only technician that has ever touched these two skis since he bought them.

One owner 96 Seadoo GTX's , garage kept , under covers , it doesn't get any nicer than this , the one on the left stopped firing , I winterized them last week then went up today to put another CDI box in it and wrap things up.

Yesterday escapades , adventures in jet ski maintaince. You have to remove those covers with about 18 torx screw s, three of them under a twist on cover on the back to get to anything in there to service these such a PITA , still a lot better than working on a Seadoo spark thought thanks so much BRP , you guys are awesome !
