Assembled my new Solas Stator today and had to turn down the diameter of the spacer ring. I did the last one with a belt sander but this was way easier.

Not sure how common it is but I have done two of these now and had to reduce the outer diameter on both of them. The reduction nozzles were both a little out of round but I was unable to mate them without reducing the dia. I would have rathered true up the reduction nozzle but i don't have the bed clearance to swing it. There will be no nozzle boring in my future.

It is pretty sweet shooting an 8 inch group at 1000 yards; different rear bag and some more fine tuning in thr reloading and they should shrink to 5-6". Also woke up at 4am and drove 2.5hrs to shoot there. just like skis all it takes is time and money... could buy a nice carbon hull for what that setup in the picture costs.
