Long story (as usual) to go along with this... I'll keep it short. This was my view Sunday.

Got BOTH my kids to ride/ drive the 440 I bought for them two weeks ago. I never in my wildest dreams would think that they be up for cruising this thing at 3.5 & 5 y/o.
I figured they would be 5-7 years old before they would be down for it.

My son knows exactly how to use the Start & Stop Buttons and how to steer. Daddy runs the throttle though :)

I really can't express how happy/ proud/ ____ I felt ... I don't even know... It was just so awesome. Thanks to my wife for capturing the moments.

When did you leave Hawaii? Do you miss it or was that place just not for you?

There's a lot to it but I'll try to be quick..

My company didn't really challenge me and i worked too many hours so I didn't get to enjoy Hawaii...which is super expensive and has huge culture issues (island time = people are lazy). So I am out of my job 2 months ago, am from Juneau AK, came to see family and work a few weeks training cruise ship workers to fight engine fires. I go back this weekend to Hawaii, ship my jeep and ski and stuff to Houston where I'm working on finding a job with hopefully a better company.

And Hawaii doesn't like stand up jet skis, so that's enough reason to not like Hawaii ;)

...wow. I hope the house survived. Looks like it might have??
Fire Marshall and two others died in that sitka, ak flood/slide. What I didn't understand is that they reported only 2.4 inches of rain fell in one day and that caused the damage in the pic. Crazy to think that Alaska saw its first severe thunderstorm warning in four years this week.

I was moving out of Vermont when Irene dumped 12 inches on the state, destroyed 100 bridges, and turned a few towns into islands completely isolating them. there were huge propane pigs washing down the rivers wedging under bridges and exploding them.
