Great idea! I work in Fleet Maintenace so we see things like that from time to time.
Last week, we had a truck come in missing the oil filler neck cap. He had made a make shift cap with a chip can lid and duct tape.

I got the new grill installed last night after work...
Still waiting on the filler piece so I can install the matching piece in the bumper and ditch the tacky tow hooks.

I think it was a series of small things like a loose pulse line, possible small air leak etc. Looks like it is all sorted now.
