I took it into some big(er) surf this weekend and am starting to form a proper opinion about it. Quick notes are, it doesn't seem quite as good (for my riding style) as the FR2, more hooked up and "turney" than loose and "pivotey". The 865 seems a bit excessive in the surf, I am working on being able to ride it smooth. I didn't feel super confident getting it into those critical spots where the Rickter I can just send it into a closeout and know what to expect. I am going to swap all my contact points over from the FR2 (bars, grips, throttle, steering, etc) and take a couple inches out of the pole and rideplate and see how it responds before I decide which goes to the chopping block. I want to give it a fair chance, the Rickter is just real good.

That motor is a beast and the hull is almost too stable for surf. That setup always had lots of hookup so it grabs more than it slides. It would probaly be better suited for a closed course racer than freeride.

That sim was impressive! Three 2k projectors seamlessly working together on a huge wrap around screen in front or a pretty dang stout cockpit replica.

I don't care what people say about kids and video games man! I played them a LOT! My kids play them a LOT!
But it opened their eyes to some things.

He has mastered farm sim, truck sim and flight sim. Farm and truck are like operating a real business. All of the book keeping and maintenance and rules and regs. Microsoft flight sim combined with some specialized software and hardware has made him want to be a pilot and he is dead serious about it.

She has become a friggin rocker man....4 guitars, real drums, piano, 5 brass instruments and a recording studio in her room. 12 original tracks so far....

I always dabbled but never outright pursued my absolute friggin love of rock and metal. She surpassed anything I ever even thought of... 7 years ago when she was friggin 7!

Kids/Teens need stuff like this today. My Daughter never picked up on any instruments(although I tried many times). She was all into art. Thats all I bought was art supplies up the yang and computer sketch boards/software the whole time she was growing up. She is a very skilled artist now.

Here is my jam room/recording room! In my youth I was in a full time band for 7 years playing 4 nights a week(Thurs. thru Sunday) in big rock clubs around the midwest like Omaha, Des Moines, Kansas City and everywhere in-between.. We worked our asses off to get to where we were at that time. Had our own big PA, light show, and 40 ft bus.
It was a LOT of fun and hard work. Rock on!!!

I’m supposed to be trenching in 2000 ft of sprinkler pipe but my buddy dropped off his tractor with a backhoe attachment so we are tackling the rest of the stumps instead.

I dug up over 75 yesterday and it looks like a minefield went off. Probably have as many or more to get today but the entire property will be mowable and much easier to maintain.
