i had one try to incinerate itself a few years ago. i soaked the engine in wd-40 after flushing the ski and closed the garage door. The next day when i went out there i could smell electrical fire odor. After some poking around i found the top of my oddysey all melted and stinking. The wd had shorted out the inline fuse for my bilge pump and almost burnt my shop down! I usually never use wd but it was all i had that day...never again
