Only ridden one day the last 3 weeks because i've been so busy! Last time i rode it was pretty warm but the water temp was pretty cold. Im upgrading my 650 to a 701 and i figured id go ride it a little bit before i rip it out when the 701 comes in, and the day i decided is only supposed to high out at 76. I havent decided if thats too cold or not. Because the water temp will be damn cold! Have a wet suit but havent decided if i wanna break it out!

Thoughts? When do you draw the line?

It is 60s and 70s every day here till winter, I have worn a suit everytime Ive ridden even in the 80s. I just preffer to. only thing is is that the temp decides what thickness suit to bring out.

Hand warmers and foot warmers (had water shooting in the tray) helps me in the cold :reporter:

What is this about foot warmers Charlie? This is the first I have ever read about it, and I wouldn't mind! I hate my purple drysuit, even though I still do not think I would ride without it when out your way, even if I did have the foot and hand warmers.

I rode lane November in Colorado when the water was 46 degrees and the air was 55'ish. I only had a 3mm wetsuit, shoes, and ski gloves on.

Hurt me feet really bad, wasent as much fun :-(

Ill ride until its no fun or the lake freezes over. I heard Booties, hood, and gloves are the trick.

Ill try to go as long as possible in the fall without a wetsuit...build up the stanima for when I really need a suit
