All the new power uncovered the weak link...or coincidence. Either way that’s a bummer, maybe time to get one resplined at the correct length from a one piece blank rather than sectioned and welded

Definitely changing my machining guy, prefer threaded joint and welded V-seam. Places here don't do full shafts.

Custom length shaft for my ski

I make custom length shafts from oem shafts, no cutting or welding. Splines are perfect and new. Cut the same way Yamaha does it with the correct spec tooling.
