i got scared when i rode a stock rxp in some light chop out at our local break here. i can't even fathom mid 90's.

at 70+ alone you hit the smallest wave wrong and get sideways and bucked, youre gonna feel that in the morning. lol.

as for the strandup v sitdown debate, just keep your eyes on the majority of the guys making the arguments.. theyre usually started/contributed to by guys who can't ride and who's only hope of some glory/recognition comes from behind a keyboard.

ive ridden a few SS runabouts and those things are no joke. respect.

amen
it really is old
and if i read seapoo once more m gonna puke
it's really not that cleaver, they didn't dominate the scene for no reason
they are all fun and all have a place ( except maybe those suv beasts that were made)

and crashing at 90 holy crap
i would love to ride a super jet with a 951 holy crap
or even the 800 rave motor
that would scream

Did I here somebody say SCREAM? My 62T engines are right there on the HP and are a lot lighter than an 800 and 951, the best part...There're LEGAL to compete in competition!:swordfight:

The world of PWC is bigger than two websites. ;)

That's just it, these 2 websites are very small. There's alot of fast stuff out there.
Peak has been in the game for many year's and his stuff is sweet.
He races Pro class sitdown and ski, his wife also race's Pro ski.

RACING IS A LOT HARDER THEN FREESTYLE.

is that the battle cry for starting world war III :smashfreakB:

racing is not necessarily harder it just requires more stamina than freestyle.....

with racing it is more who has the fastest boat and can hold on the longest.

with freestyle it is less about the boat and more about the riders ability.

there is alot of fast stuff out there as well, built by some lesser known people that do no even race..... conversion ski's are running 80+mph with just an intake and ecu

if you take into account greenhulk.net, here, and pwctoday. i think you have a pretty good covering of the watercraft world in general... greenhulk is home to probably 5-6 of the fastest verified pwc's in the world right now.. and by verified seen more than once reaching those speeds by multiple people, gps'd and radared and viewed on video

yeah
and staying and palying if the surf also takes some real stamina ( at least on the great lakes int he washing machine type surf that we get)

saying racing is harder tha freestyle is like saying computer programing is harder than concrete work

kinda of a real lame statement considering the company you are in right now

i never mentioned anything about freeriding nor did i make personal attacks about where you work.:pokey:

i was talking about freestyle and racing in terms of competition.... not rec riding in the surf. anyone who rides in the surf stand up, sitdown, sport, doesn't matter.. your body can only take so much it has to do with stamina

go do a two minute freestyle routine and then go do a 12-15 lap moto for racing and see which one tests your stamina

you are talking about 2 completely different skillsets for 2 completely different disciplines of the same sport.

again all relative my friend

i suppose if you wanted to descibe it in calories burned and the amount of energy used over the duration of the event, you could find a way to emerically prove this yes .
but really it is a mut point in my book

Typing about freestyle on an online forum all day long takes stamina, skills, and a good machine.

boring to watch*....hell, I love playing golf but you would have to pay me to watch it.

Point being, I could watch freestyle all day long...racing, not so much

I gotcha. Well go over to PWCToday and watch the 2003 Motosurf National Tour in the following thread:

http://www.pwctoday.com/showthread.php?t=68444

After you do that explain to what is boring about watching that. Not trying to be a smart a$$, but racing is pretty freaking cool to watch especially the ski and sport classes. Runabout maybe not so much.
