Which b pipe is better, limited or mod?

Limited for an all stock ski depending on what you want. Limited will give you a little bit more bottom, mod will give you more top, but the difference is minimal.

My vote is for Mod solely because its so much easier to get in and out and the power band is not that much different. Its how to tune for that power band what matters most.

You could cut and weld that limited like factory pipe used to do to make mod chambers back in the day. I've got one from the 90s thats still in use

Just ordered a limited! Don’t plan on going am hull for a while and motor is stock so makes sense to get one with bigger chamber for more bottom end

If you spend $1000+ on a b pipe setup for a Superjet..freestyle setup anyway...well then I just don’t know. Can get a lay down pipe for that money. For racing sure

How would you spend 1000+? They are only 700-750 new. Still a lot for a pipe but everything for stand up skis is expensive

Tnt chamber is $600+, not talking about a normal b pipe

Limited with a stock/mild upgraded motor. High compression heads, stock bore, stock porting, lighten flight flywheel etc.

Once you get into Big Bores, port jobs and beyond run MOD.

Won't argue the MOD install is easier install though.

I've got one of each installed at the moment in different skis.

Either way you go, I would highly encouraged big bore/port matching the port between the manifold and head pipe. Jetmaniac sells big bore head pipe gaskets.
