Who Rolled today

ANT

Just ride
i practiced rolls sunday and i still do the headdragger and kinda dont know where the heck i am once i hit the wadda

ye those headdraggers are awesome cause then a few days later you bend down to pick something up and all this water falls out of your nose.

flatwater is tricky, you can do rolls clean with a little bit of motor but you always want more.

hell yea!
rolled for the first time since breaking my wrist on a roll early this year.
happened almost on accident, just hit the biggest wave of the day, a whopping 4footer. thinking stab on the way to the wave but at the last split second it changes to a roll and i huck it wide. dont know the height maybe 5 ft. came in level slightly nose down just breaks the water with the nose and pulls up smoooth! there was probly 10 or so people watching on the beach, on other skis and boat.
felt good, real good.
wish i had more consistent surf, waves were .5-2.5 and the few up to 4ft.

Congrats on the roll dude!
Wear a brace on that wrist, also I would suggest thinking ahead and try to protect all the major joints in your body before you need a surgery.
A "simple" knee surgery can ruin your riding habits and your life for a few years.
My left knee was done and redone 3.5 years ago, the right one has been pending surgery for over 23 years. And no, I don't limp walking down the beach. :)

I think anyone who've had a surgery or still needs one can chime in.

The "dislocated shoulders, f-ed up wrists, scarred knuckles, multiple concussions, etc." are to follow, stay tuned in. ;)

bringing this back up.
ive made a lot of improvement lately. im finally getting the hight i needed of my setup wake and i think im getting the timing down pretty consistently. my pre hop was a lot of the problem before, now that i can time that pretty close im getting a lot more height and my rotation seems to be faster. im still at 3/4 though. soon i will have this, i think persistence is key.

so is anyone else making any improvements?

How was your footage? Post it if it turned out good. As for surf riding I'm all about that too! BTW when are we doing Cortez?

rode for 2 hours last night. I have created a new trick. We already have the 'barrell roll' and the 'double trouble' and now we have the 'triple threat'.

Ok, that is get on the hood, ride in (one) direction, turn and ride in a (Second) direction and lastly a (Third) direction........... AKA the triple threat

roll 1-roll 2-roll 3-ride away. I don't think it would be possible w/a stk motor-it takes sooooo much momentum to get the 3rd.
