Team scream is the favorate so far, but lpw isnt far behind. I was leaning towards Chuck to begain with but I wasn't completely sure. That's just more reassurance, thanks!

I will be contacting both Tricky Power and JSU today too, thanks for the input!

I've been fortunate enuf to ride several good engines and they are all awesome. If it's mind bending shoulder screaming power u want-Tricky Power should be called TP for toilet paper cuz after u squeeze one of his triggers u need to ilet paper to wipe yer azz cuz u just chit in yer shorts.

If its freeridefreestyle smooth strong power u want-it's LPW(as far as 701's go). I'm sure Paul does some stupid engines as well.

Derrick at TheSkiclinic.com is the new kid on the block, but he can built a mean and reliable motor. If there was any issue with his work, he will drop everything and will fix the problem...

Thanks again for the suggestions guys

Welp Paul at LPW is getting crossed off that list most defintly. I don't want to get into too much but I gotta let some frustration out finnally.

I needed a set of domes cut for the stroked motor way back in April of this year. I wanted him to cut my riva 35cc domes deeper for the 4mm stroke. He said np send the parts over along with the other head with the correct depth for the stroked engine (non-girdled w/ high comp.) 3 weeks go by and I didnt hear a thing, so I called and was told the riva domes were too thin and I was going to need a ADA setup. That sucked but I bought the setup from him above normal cost thinking I would get things done faster and frankly he seemed like a cool guy. After that he keeps stalling and saying it will ship tmrw or next week, ect ect... this goes on for a while. I finally get the parts and the domes were cut wrong. Way too deep and the compression was only 135 and i wanted 185. I let him know and it turned out the head I gave him to copy the depth on was really deep for some reason. Hes says NP ill get another set out asap... again the stalling, says he mails them out twice or threes times but they keep getting sent back ( i find that bullcrap b/c nothing ever gets refused at my house).

So i get the new domes in september and have had them sitting around until today mostly because I didnt want to deal with him ever again if something was wrong. Well it happened again, even after giving him the exact messurments over the phone probally 4-5 times. The squish is .12 and comp. is 230psi on one cylinder and 240psi on the other. THANKS for the summer long headache Paul. You rock.

Also thanks for keeping me off my new superjet all but 2 hours riding time

That sucks dude. Paul is a hack of a machinist.
LPW= Lining Paul's Wallet
That all your doing when you give this guy money for work.
There's plenty of good shops out there.

That was my case this year... and this all sounds like Mark at Full throttle.. except I guess Paul still answers his phone... I went 2 months calling daily and leaving messages but never got an answer from Mark.

I Have Had Two Freeride Motors Built By Paul And They Run Flawless. I Have Never Had Such A Good Running Motor With So Much Horsepower. I Would Highly Recommend Paul's Work.

What about Mad Man engineering?? I seen his name on the sponsor list 2 times at world finals... that should say something but I can't get him to answer the phone either...:thumbsdown: maybe it is just me and I should quit calling at midnight...

My only experience has been with Paul and no other builder thus far. I build all my own motors, but Paul has done all my boring and machine work. So far everything has gone very well.

I don't doubt Paul does great work. Hell he has built tons of them and his work renown for it. I really wish I had a good experience with him b/c id probably get the work done through him. But I have such a bad taste in my mouth from him Ill never risk my money and time again. I'm not going to sit at home everyday wondering if Im going to get my stuff and I don't want to call and piss him off either b/c then im sure nothing would get resolved, ever. So ill just stay away.

I like your support for him. And I love what he does and has done for the sport.. All the freerides, ect. Helping people. But how would you feel if he strung you along like me? Could you put it aside and send him $1000 and motor parts?
