im going to try to come and meet all of you guys. im not a great surf rider but im only half hour away. the only thing holding me back is im supposed to be heading of to colorado oct 8- 16 to go motorcycle riding but with work, were slammed i might half to wait till next year for the colorado trip. im going to pismo tommorow to practice so i dont look like such a tool when i ride with the good guys.haha. hope to see you there. once again il be the one stuck with the 2wd diesel excursion with toyhauler, so i might need a tow.

What is so bad about marker/post #4? Is it the waves? Inconvenience? We're driving 1300 miles, an extra mile doesnt bother us! THERE IS A LOT MORE ROOM THERE at 4. last year at 3 it got really crowded once everybody got (somewhat) together. And the other group was down closer to 2 where it is even narrower... WTF?
Why does this always become an issue? :banghead: Can somebody local there head this up and make it stick??? Wheres the freeride spirit? Get it together!!!

I'm trying to find cheap flights out, but I waited too late. San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria are pretty expensive this late. I did find a reasonable price in and out of Santa Barbara. Anybody traveling through there that might be able to pick up a passenger from the airport? I was hoping to head out Wed. or Thurs. and head home Sunday night or Monday morning.

If I flew out of Santa Barbara late on Sunday that might be on your way too. I am assuming Santa Barbara would be a way easier airport than LAX.
