Then getting an a/m hull is a bad idea on a couple of different levels

There's a lot of work that goes into setting up a/m hulls.

Custom skis are a lot of work.
If your dad won't let you fix that minor glass problem, then he'll have a heart attack with the work that goes with an a/m hull.
Also, you're 19. Jmho of course, but that's pretty young to be dropping that kind of coin on such a marginal hobby.

Rode a ROK last week in the surf. (Sanoman's)

I was REALLY surprised how well it handled. I ride an sj w/bolt ons.

I surfed/carved with it. Didn't want to damage a bud's ski by trying anything in the air. It turned on a dime, hard to pearl, his power plant was not too much for it.
I gotta say.....I liked it a lot. Short but stable. So air tricks should work out.

Getting one might be another story...we've seen the threads. But I liked the ROK.


P.S: I've never done business with WDK. I don't know WDK. I know Sanoman and he let me ride his ski.

I was responding to your OP. Not telling you what to buy.
There are hull makers out there that have better/similar products and maintain good reputattions. If you'e 19 and living at home, then my advise would be to fix/ride the super-jet until you have your act together.

He wants me to get a build round nose hull or a aftermarket for the right price.. just cause he knows im addicted to the sport and knows ill end up with one eventually... and it may be cheaper to shorten and redo my rn but I just don't gave experience ext... I found a gen 1 carbon b.o.b I may get for 2500.. I have someone driveing 3hours to look at my rn hull for a grand..
